Sri Lanka Itinerary: 14 Days - Deep Culture and Ancient Kingdoms
Two weeks anchored in Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle, from Anuradhapura's stupas and Sigiriya's rock fortress to Dutch Galle, with Bentota beach nights to break the pace.History carries this trip, but it never becomes a forced march. Two nights each at Anuradhapura, Sigiriya and Kandy cover the ancient capitals and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth with time to linger, and Polonnaruwa slots in as a day trip. Colombo adds its museums and Pettah's bazaars. Then the coast takes over: Bentota's beach and river, and finally Galle Fort's walls, cafes and lighthouse.
